Pelican Book Club: Gilead by Marilynne Robinson

For our initial test run of the Pelican Book Club, we hosted a summer discussion of Marilynne Robinson's hauntingly beautiful Gilead. The first in a trilogy of novels centered around fictional Gilead, Iowa, this tale of fatherhood and faith is a testament to the fact that true masters of the literary art still live among us.
